Welcome to the museum! This is a collection of resources, image galleries, and just plain fun stuff I've found on the web. Recategorization may occur as I fill this out with more stuff, but in the meantime-- have a look!
If you think of anything to suggest, my inbox is open.
(WARNING: Flashing images) - A collection of little pixel icons, sorted by color. I use some of these on my site!
Cursor gallery! This thing's got like millions of them. You'll be here for hours.
A search engine for Geocities gifs, hosted by the Internet Archive. May or may not break as you scroll, so be careful!.
FUN WITH IMAGES AND COLORS
Dot Picture Hello
Transform images into up to 16-bit pixel art! Includes options for dithering and a couple useful in-site color editors. (I used this to make my site background from a Puyo game asset!)
A seamless pattern gallery/generator that lets you change the palettes and such.
Lospec Palette List
Neat place to find palettes for digital art and pixel art! The site itself hosts a lot of other resources for pixel artists, which I strongly encourage you check out!
VIDEO GAME ART AND ODDITIES
Pretty self explanatory. A nice collection of ripped sprites from all sorts of games, old and new.
Video Game Art Archive
A Tumblr blog that uploads high quality renders of classic video game art.
Nintendo Power Archive (1988-2004)
Lovingly scanned volumes of a video game magazine from my childhood, Nintendo Power. Sure, it may be just a fancy advertisement at the end of the day, but I still feel warm and fuzzy reading these.
Puyo Puyo Preservation Place Archive
Suuuper robust. One stop-shop for all images "Puyo". An illuminating walk through Puyo Puyo history, and it's still being updated!
